Les Coquettes will supply twelve performers for a full-length show (approximately 90 minutes, with one intermission). Included in our company of players is our fabulous Mistress of Ceremonies, La Minouche who will coax the crowd into leaving their inhibitions behind and giving themselves over to the night’s festivities.
For added impact, the troupe can be accompanied by Les Coquettes’ touring band ‘The Unmentionables’, a six-piece dynamo who really know how to swing! Music will include some classic jazz standards and some refreshing takes on modern pop tunes – always a hit with audiences.
Aerial numbers are performed by the formidable Charlotte Webber (cirque and dance tour-de-force Natalie Fullerton). Charlotte weaves power and sensuality into every performance, stealing the breath and hearts of audiences everywhere. She can take to the air by working her magic on the silks, hoop, and a variety of other options.
Les Coquettes can also create custom numbers for your special occasion, and can even involve your VIPs!
Les Coquettes Cabaret is a collective of artists who are committed to building a community of talented performers and visual artists everywhere we go. To add local interest to our touring shows, and appeal to the following of local talent, we like to offer two performance slots to up-and-coming local artists.
Working in collaboration with our clients, Les Coquettes can choose two of their local darlings to whom this unique opportunity can be offered. Acts should be self-contained (not involve Les Coquettes or The Unmentionables), under five minutes, and selected to appeal to a wide variety of adult audiences. This feature can be great fun at a corporate event, showcasing the hidden talents of your team members!
Though these spots are unpaid, Les Coquettes will showcase each artist on their website and through various social media platforms where our following is strong and growing every day. Guests may also sell CDs and other relevant merchandise at our merchandise table.
Les Coquettes offer audiences delightful ways to take the glamour of cabaret home. Our merchandise table travels to each show with us and our playful Pixie in all her finery serves up an array of hand-made pasties, fascinators (hair ornaments), autographed glossy prints of the troupe, delicious cupcakes and other delights to enrich the audience experience. A 6′ or 8′ table and a chair are required for set up.
Les Coquettes’ Company Policy stipulates that licensed hotel or motel accommodations are required for events that are 50km or greater outside the city of Toronto. Billeting is not an option, but we are very happy to room together, so shared hotel accommodation is most certainly possible.
Les Coquettes also perform at smaller functions with snippets from our full stage show. These mini shows are called ‘teasers’ and feature three or four numbers with a small selection of our talented cast.
Please note that solo performers are available, but must be accompanied by a Les Coquettes Man Prop chaperon.
Les Coquettes has a considerable fan base after seven years of working their magic in Toronto and surrounding areas. Our fan base is nearly 2,000 active members strong, and our reach on Facebook and YouTube extends throughout and beyond the GTA. If audience interest is considerable, and budget allows, we may also explore the possibility of chartered transportation to any venue for our fans. Working with the client to arrange a discounted hotel rate for visitors will increase our potential reach.
